Summer always feels like an invitation to simplify. Longer days, spontaneous dinners outdoors, afternoons spent chasing the light. The season has a way of making you want less in your closet and more intention behind what’s there.
When I’m shopping this time of year, I’m not looking for whatever’s new. I’m looking for the pieces that work quietly and well. This year I’m drawn to breezy linen, oversized button-downs, and lightweight dresses in crisp white, soft neutrals, and classic stripes. Nothing that feels of-the-moment. Everything that photographs beautifully at noon by the water and still feels right three summers from now. These are the pieces I pack first and never regret.
