We kick this week’s mix off with a little piece of a conversation with Boots Riley and Kevin Coval from 2012 that challenges the mythology of Hip-Hop’s “origin story”, and then we get into some incredible new music including a collaboration with Blu & Exile featuring Black Thought & Mach-Hommy, another new track from The Neighborhood Kids forthcoming LP VOICE OF THE REVOLUTION (this one is produced by Snowgoons), Portland’s own Mic Crenshaw featuring my sister who you know from Lovework, the one and only Toni Hill, a few reimagined classics from TOBi, Abstract Tribe Unique, and so much more.
