On being done

Some good news to try and brighten these dark past few weeks: Queer Man Peering Into A Rock Pool.jpg is FINISHED. The launch date is July 14th, 2022 .

No doubt there are some still some bugs to be fixed, but it’s all there. There is a launch party to plan and social media to wrangle but for now are taking a week to do as little as possible. In that spirit, this edition of Pen Pals will be (very) brief.

We are back in Sydney from our, ahem, “Working Holiday” in Thailand. Of course the month was filled with many wonderful experiences, but also illness, bad hotels, and the usual assortment travel woes. It wasn’t until two days before leaving—the day after we finished the game—that we had the feeling we were truly on holiday. So we are spending this rainy week having our “real” holiday: playing games, reading, and watching movies.

But of course none of that matters. Because after 14 long months it’s ready. It’s finally, truly, finished. IT’S DONE.
