Fuzzy's E-Z Guide to leaving comments on Bandcamp (and support your favorite bands for free!!)

Leaving a comment on an album page is a great way to support your favorite bands on Bandcamp, and it’s EASY and FREE!!

Why is leaving your comment so important? Because other fans will see that the album is worth checking out, and that makes a big difference.

There’s two ways to do it: from your web browser, or from your Bandcamp app.

But first — you must own the album. Either you’ve redeemed a download code (AND made sure you selected the option to “Add this item to my collection”), or else you paid for the album. Either way, make sure you’ve got the album in your Bandcamp collection.

Next, choose a way to leave a comment. Either use your web browser, or your Bandcamp app.

1. Open your Bandcamp music collection. It will include your Bandcamp user name; for example https://bandcamp.com/fuzzycracklins

2. Find the album you want to leave a comment for.

3. Hover your mouse pointer at the album.

4. Click the link that appears which says, “Why do you love this album?”

5. Type in 1 or 2 sentences which describe your thoughts about the album. Keep it positive — Bandcamp is all about supporting indie underground bands!!

6. IMPORTANT!! Be sure to SAVE your comment.

7. That’s it!! Super easy and the band will appreciate your support.

8. BONUS: Also set your favorite track.

1. Open your Bandcamp app.

2. Scroll through your collection to find the album and open it.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the album page.

4. Click in the COMMENT box.

5. Type in 1 or 2 sentences which describe your thoughts about the album. Keep it positive — Bandcamp is all about supporting indie underground bands!!

6. IMPORTANT!! Be sure to SAVE your comment.

7. That’s it!! Super easy and the band will appreciate your support.

8. BONUS: Also set your favorite track.
