Hello friends! August and the dog days of summer are here! Those gloriously hot ones that stretch on and on and are best spent living like a 7 year old. In the spirit of carefree summers, I put together the following… it’s a reminder, a bingo card, a gratitude list for this all-too-short time.
The latter was inspired by the following – an excerpt from Joe Brainard’s book, “I Remember”. One of my favorite books, it really captures the accumulated memories that make up a life.
Now, we’ll visit a couple of friends just doing their best.
And finally, I’m always thinking about the Summer Roadtrip. That magical feeling of discovering new places, eating local specialties, and leaving your worries at home. Hope you are enjoying your summer – until we meet again, wishing you all blue skies and blueberry pies!
