When five wealthy trophy hunters descend upon a remote African forest, they overlook the passionate young researcher, Angel Restorick, who has learned to communicate with the chimpanzees she studies. As the hunters close in, Angel must use her unique bond with the chimps to outwit the human predators.
This was a little nerve-wracking, as the big retailers like to order a casual 3-4 weeks before release (and books must go to print at least 4 weeks before publication) - so you never really know what quantity to print aside from educated guess works! But for our first trade hardback, we’re keeping all our fingers crossed for reader and bookseller support.

Give a warm welcome to our latest 2027 signing - dystopian debut ‘Resolve’ by author Kate Blincoe.
‘Resolve’ is the story of Jude, a frightened but determined mother of two, convinced that her family is under surveillance. When a letter arrives from the Government’s NeuroNormalcy (NN) department, ordering an assessment of her nine-year-old, neurodivergent daughter known as L, Jude knows that a failure to ‘resolve’ will result in her daughter being institutionalised. Jude must act and swiftly.
Turning to the Indigo Army, an underground network smuggling neurodiverse people to safety in Switzerland, Jude prepares to spirit L out of the country. But just how much of her life is she prepared to sacrifice, in order to save her child?
As Jude makes plans, her estranged brother-in-law, Ezra, a seasoned NN enforcer, goes about his daily work, hunting down neurodivergent youths and dismantling the very smuggling operations Jude now relies upon. Cold and disciplined, his only emotional connection is to his ailing mother, until Melanie, his ex-wife and Jude’s sister, informs him she’s pregnant. A prenatal scan has suggested neurodivergence and a termination has become mandatory. Melanie, desperate, turns to Ezra for help. Will he find the scrap of humanity he has left to give it?

So you’ve finished your manuscript, you love it, and you’re ready to type “book publishers” into Google and start firing off submissions. Not quite yet. Before you approach an indie press, there are a few things worth getting in order first: your publication history, your online presence, and the way you introduce yourself in that all-important cover letter.
