We’re all talking about it, aren’t we? The change in the weather, how the rain is good for the garden, how the evenings are drawing in, how there’s a nip in the air and how we can’t imagine wearing jeans again! For once, as a person mildly allergic to autumn, I cannot wait for it to arrive this year. As lovely as it’s been to wake up every morning, slip on a sundress and grab a pair of flip flops, I really am yearning for textures and cosiness and socks!
It’s been so nice to have a little browse online and pull this list together but as ever, please let me know if I’ve missed anything.
Have a lovely weekend.
If you know me, you’ll know I’m never far from a stripy top and I particularly love this one. The colours are great - I’m still loving burgundy accents - and the loose cuffs are really nice.
These forest green cords by Maeve are gorgeous. I love a front pocket on trousers and the scallop edging on these are such a lovely detail. They’re also available in taupe rose.
These high neck lace tops from COS are great for layering under a jumper with just the neck and cuffs peeping through. This colour is so good for the autumn.
A great way to wear suede in inclement weather is to go faux. The styling on this Topshop trench coat is spot on and it’s the perfect length. It looks way more expensive than it is too!
I’ve been toying with getting a pair of these for a while now - I’m always a bit concerned that they won’t stay on my feet when I walk - but I do love this green.
This is such a good piece for autumn - ME+EM knitwear is always beautifully made and the colours are so good.
I love this dress from Reiss, the print is so pretty. It’s smart enough for a special occasion but would also look great with a pair of biker boots and a leather jacket.
I think I’ve found the perfect blouse! The neck, the detail on the front, the cuffs are all perfect. It would look particularly good under an unbuttoned cardigan.
& Other Stories always make the best jeans and these barrel style ones are no exception. Lovely colour denim and a great cut. A classic.
How nice are these Mango trousers? They’d look great with the white blouse above or a polo neck. Add a favourite belt and a pair of loafers and you’re good to go.
