December is here and it is time to reflect on the year and look forward to the year ahead. To be honest I am still trying to figure out how to show up here.
I want to share my latest blog posts without feeling like its another annoying newsletter for you to read. I know I have a full inbox and my time is limited. I hope this is something you can read over your morning coffee.
Finding that balance is much like what I feel like all of 2025 has been for me. Trying to figure out what I want to put my time into and what feels helpful to my readers.
Moving forward I would like to post this newsletter 1-2x a month with the latest from the blogs. This may be a quick recap of blog posts, highlight a travel deal, or share about upcoming travels and what we are looking forward to.

When I say this year has been a lot, that is an understatement. I made the decision to branch out Five for the Road into two additional blogs, so now I am the proud writer for 3 blogs!
Five for the Road will focus on family travel itineraries and getaways for families in Rochester, NY. You do not have to live in NY state to enjoy the trip itineraries but expect a Rochester spin on the day trips and destinations we visit.
My Universal Trip will be a great resource for families planning their next Universal Trip. From hotel reviews, where to eat, and how to plan your park days. This is an awesome place to get started.
My Pixie Dust Trip is for anyone who is planning a Disney trip. Currently focused on Walt Disney World but most likely will expand over the next few years to include other types of Disney vacations. This is in the beginning stage and I am still working on moving posts from Five for the Road to My Pixie Dust Trip.
It has been a labor of love and I am so excited about the direction of all 3 of the blogs. I can’t wait to see what comes next.
