Big News and Finding Routine

We are officially on summer break today!! It is so nice to not have to get up and do all the school things.

I haven’t had time to work on sending my newsletter and I can’t believe it has been 4 months!! I have been working on something new and exciting that I am sharing in this email-but let’s catch up a little.

My kids are all teenagers and with that comes a busier life than I ever imagined. From thinking about college to running them to sports and activities, to balancing our travel plans with their work schedules and life.

In between I have been writing posts but I also started working a part time job outside of content creating, which is strange and wonderful at the same time.

Like everyone life is just busy and constantly changing, so every week I am figuring out how to fit it all in. I am grateful for those who stick around and support me here and I hope I can find some sort of routine in the chaos.

On to the BIG NEWS!

For the last few years I have really struggled to find clarity with my little corner of the internet, in February I was ready to walk away from it all, and then I completely pivoted and decided to go all in and see what I can make happen.

Going all in meant creating 3 BLOGS!! With a big nudge from a friend, Hi-Rob if you are reading this, I jumped all in to starting something new.

I really can’t believe it and I am still figuring it out, I probably will always be trying to figure it out, but it brought back a spark in me to write and share again that has been missing for a few years now.

Some of you may be here from subscribing to one of the blogs but not another, I hope you stick around and find interesting things that inspire you to plan a trip.

About the blogs…

Five for the Road is the first blog I started and things have evolved so much in the digital creator space. It felt right to expand. My kids are all teens and our travels have changed. I needed to change with it.

And introducing My Universal Trip and Main Street to Magic. Two blogs focused on my love for Universal and Disney! I want these to feel like having coffee with a friend. I will be sharing all my tried and true experiences at the parks and what I share with my friends when I help them plan their trips.

Five for the Road isn’t going anywhere, but I am working through all of my posts and deciding what direction I want to take. The more I work through it the more I lean into creating awesome destination itineraries as well as focusing on New York State. Weekend itineraries from Rochester, New York City itineraries, and all the cool places in between.

My Universal Trip is where I am moving all of my Universal posts to. I am so excited for this new blog. Think of it as your go-to guide for planning your Universal trip. I have so many posts to write and share. We visited Epic Universe in April and are planning a 3 day visit back in August. I love having a place for all things Universal!

Main Street to Magic is all about Disney trips. From Walt Disney World and Disneyland to Disney Cruise and Disneyland Paris. This is where I will be moving all of my Disney posts currently on Five for the Road. It is in the early stages but I am slowly moving Disney posts and writing new ones.

As you can see I want from chaos to more chaos but this feels like the right move for me. I am so excited! I am being patient with the process and doing my best each week to fill the blogs with posts that inspire you!

I have so much to share for all three blogs and it has been fun finding my voice again.

This is our first week of summer vacation and our big summer trip is about a month away. In my next email I will be sharing our itinerary, it is a lot of theme park days, and also the latest from the blogs.
