Friday Minute: Why not getting funded says nothing about your idea
You not getting investment is irrelevant to whether your idea is good or not. It’s irrelevant.
Most of us think: “I couldn’t raise, so therefore it’s a bad idea.”
No. That’s nothing to do with it.
But at the same time, it could also be a sign.
If you’re not getting customers and you can’t fundraise, that’s a bad sign. You’re just gonna blow money. You don’t have a real product.
But if you can’t fundraise and you have a good product, that’s the best place to be.
Even though it sounds horrible on paper.
That’s Airbnb. That’s the situation with a lot of these startups.
The ones that are generational companies couldn’t fundraise at the beginning.
