I am tremendously proud of it.
For our first episode, we are taking on a question most Christians have never been given a satisfying answer to: How did the Bible become the Bible?
I wanted to make a show where we could take questions like this seriously without making faith dull, brittle, or afraid. A show that feels like staying after Mass because the conversation has become too interesting to leave. We can follow the history, admit what we do not know, laugh at the occasional absurdity, and still recognize the sacred story moving through it all.
That is the show we made.
This episode combines serious research, storytelling, humor, pastoral reflection, historical images, and original visual sequences. It is the largest and most ambitious piece of media Message From the Margins has produced so far. I have watched it more times during editing than any reasonable person should ever watch his own face, and I am finally ready to stop talking about making it and let you see it.
