Whenever I ask what you would like me to write about, everyone says something like “clothes” or “fashion.” I’m skeptical of this, because when I do write about clothes it seems like fewer people care than when I write about men or my personal tribulations. But I might be taking the wrong generic approach, attempting to Clareify (branding opportunity?) writing about physical appearance when I just need to take a page from the book of success and show you pictures of myself while telling you what to buy.
More earnestly, I do have a lot of advice about how to dress well and get a lot of cool things without very much money. My day-to-day existence is also quite varied, and I am not just an influencer but someone who goes to a job—this gives me unique sets of expertise that a lot of other outfit-posters might not have.
What follows are twelve photos and breakdowns of outfits I wore to work in New York City and on vacation in Montreal (?). I tried to include links where I could (none affiliate), and also—DISCLAIMER—when I say something is gifted I mean from a LOVED ONE, not a BRAND. Though I love brands and would cherish their gifts.
If you like this post, I’m happy to make it a monthly column; I relish in any additional pressure not to wear pajamas every day. Though I chose a particularly fun week to start this project; I went to work and on vacation. Future installations will have a lot more “going out” and office ensembles, though maybe that will be even more fun.
