Tarot at the End of the World

…not quite at the end of the world of course, because I know what that looks like, because I did use to live there the first 25 years of my life. This phamplet is a Meditation on Writing, Randomness and Hanging On and it was so much fun to write, and it’s so different from what I usually do. My partner in crime, my man across the sea Ashley Stokes egged us on while we wrote this together and I must say it was a delight even though I was sceptical that I would have something interesting to say about tarot and how the cards relate to creativity. Turns out I did, and it was easy to weave my process and how I use the cards into this little piece of work. Look at this not so much as advice but as insight into how other’s, both Ashley and I, approach writing and creativity.

The icing on the cake is that Calque Press make wonderful phamplets spanning such a wide array of topics. You will certainly find something there that you enjoy, written by varied range of writers keen to share their thoughts on said topics. The Eyelash Tarot Experiment certainly is a beautiful phamplet, everything from the cover to the paper it is printed on is just a delight. This is what books and book-ish things need to be now, and maybe should always be, wonderful items you find joy in touching and gazing at and then, hopefully, reading. They do such wonderful job.

It has been out for a while and there are a limited number of copies so if you are interested in Tarot and creativity, or feel like reading about our creative journey, you should snap it up. It spans everything from travels to Norse mythology, though most of all it spans our creative journey and tarot, of course.
