Draw With Me in July

June’s theme was “Drawing Water” and we had two sessions of drawing water scenes: waterscapes and life beneath. That way we tried to explore life around and underneath water with beautiful landscapes and marine animals.

For July and August we will be drawing people. Some will be in motion, some still and we will have the chance to explore the poses, the gestures and even create our own characters if we like!

I am looking forward to some cool summer evenings to spend by an open window and draw with you!

Here are the details:

We will be drawing reference images of people engaged in solitary activities, such as reading, doing crafts or sipping coffee. Expect peaceful and static compositions.

We will be drawing reference images of people in motion, dancing, leaping, running… Expect movement and exaggerated gestures.
