Hi friends-

I took a long weekend off work because I was on an annual girls weekend away! This was our 3rd annual trip, and we switch up where we go each year. This year we went to New Buffalo, Michigan, and it was the best. There is truly nothing like uninterrupted time with your girlfriends. We spent the weekend laughing hysterically, sobbing, and having some very therapeutic deep dives into life. We are all in such a full stage of life right now, and I think it's so important to intentionally carve out time to focus on yourself and acknowledge everything life is throwing at you. A few of us have recently lost parents, all of us are in the thick of raising young kids, balancing busy family lives with work, and trying to take care of ourselves somewhere in the middle of it all. My husband is leaving soon for his annual boys weekend, and I absolutely love that he has this time carved out every year too. We both come home from these weekends feeling refreshed, recharged, and honestly just more appreciative of each other and feeling zero guilt when leaving knowing we both prioritize this time away.

And how is it August already?! July absolutely flew by, but my kids still have over a month before school starts, so we’re squeezing in a few more camps, bucket-list activities, and some end-of-summer weekends away! Meanwhile, back to school and early fall arrivals are in full swing in stores. As you can tell from this week’s top sellers, school is definitely on everyone’s minds now that supply lists are out, teachers have been assigned, and we’re all trying to shop before the good stuff starts disappearing from shelves!

Let's get into this week's brain dump:

-If you are looking for really cute new clothing for your kids, you have to check out the brand

Next, it is as trendy as Zara Kids with a slightly lower price point. I have found the sizing to run big, so I size down for my kids, but their styles are insanely adorable!

-If you are wanting to stock up on some good quality, basics for kids I love Quince clothing. A few staples I like for my kids are:
1.

Flowknit Performance Joggers for boys, my son has 3 colors, they are literally like a mini Vuori jogger for boys and last through a lot of wear and tear. Available in toddler and kid sizes
2.
Organic Cotton Dresses for girls, they are just like the Hanna Andersson dresses but for half the price. They come in all different sleeve lengths and prints
3. Gripper socks for toddlers and kids, they are just like Bombas but for less, often sold out but full in stock right now! They come in an
ankle and crew style

-My girlfriend was wearing this adorable

Amazon crochet set as a swim cover up this weekend and I immediately bought it! I love a short set, she was wearing the top open over her one-piece and it looked so chic!

-I saw these Target

toddler fleece jackets in store last week and they are finally online and the absolute cutest!! There are 4 different color combos available in 12M - 5T sizes.

Let's get into what else you may have missed around Everyday Best Buy last week! xo

  1. Stainless Steel Lunchbox - This lunchbox has been the top seller for two months now and for good reason! It’s the best non-toxic option out there because of the lightweight stainless steel design, compartment layout, and the easy latches that allow kids to open/close this independently.

  2. First/Last Day of School Sign - I bought this sign for my kids this year and I like that there aren’t so many sections to fill out in addition to the vibrancy of the markers! On sale for 20% off still.

  3. The Kissing Hand - I get so many DM’s every time I share this book from parents, teachers, care givers who have read this book every year to their kids, it is truly such a sweet story that parents and kids alike will adore reading at the beginning of a new school year.

  4. Bentgo Ice Packs - These slim ice packs are our favorite because of the slim design and cute themes. They fit perfectly in the lunch bag we recommend and we also use them around the house for injuries.

  5. PackIt Freezable Snack Pouch - If you have a child who prefers snacks that need to be chilled, this freezable snack pouch is the way to go! Toss it in the freezer the night before and it stays cold for hours.

I bought this Illuminating Eye Cream last month and it works WONDERS! It instantly brightens your under eyes, and you can genuinely see a difference right away. Karlie actually bought it after seeing me apply it one time. If you have dark circles or just tired-looking eyes, I highly recommend this one!

Worth It

I wish I had a better pic of this dress, but I packed it for a girls trip this past weekend and it was such an easy black dress to throw on and feel put together for a casual night out. I love the square neckline and print! There is smocking at the waist too. I am wearing a medium.

Easy Summer Dress

Let's get you up to speed on the latest and greatest roundups, guides and polls!

Back to school is a great time to make a few easy non-toxic swaps for the upcoming year for your kids! Trust us, we tested several lunch box options and this one passed the test because it’s lightweight, easy for kids to open and has a good compartment layout. We also have tried so many water bottles over the years and this one can be upside down in their backpack and doesn’t leak when the top is closed! Watch the reel here!

Non-Toxic Swaps

Here are the products you all loved most during the month of July! I think most of us with kids are in that in-between stage where back-to-school is starting to creep into our minds, but we’re not quite ready to let summer go. I’m definitely craving a little more routine for the kids, while also trying to soak up every last warm, sun-kissed day before it’s gone. See the post here!
