Late Sunday night, we closed Issue 06 and shipped it to our printer in London. It’s a jaw-dropper of a magazine. Subscribe, subscribe, subscribe, so we can keep making magic happen.
And then, Monday morning, the first of the small-but-mighty Esses team arrived in Miami for a legendary week of grand-prix-adjacent action.
Here’s a rundown of everything Esses x Miami. If you’re in town, we really hope to grab a coffee, or a meal, or, best of all, see you at our South Florida Chariots Car Show on Thursday night.

The team at the Miami GP came to us with a fascinating ask: what would a race program designed by Esses look like? The question became a puzzle of sorts as we looked to build a new way for fans to experience the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami GP and provide everything a race attendee would need at the tip of their fingers.
We wanted the program to be a digital magazine that fans were excited to return to again and again. That meant commissioning beautifully illustrated maps, hiring a Miami restaurant expert to write a comprehensive city guide, finding a photographer to bring every location to life, and delivering the same editorial and design care we put into each issue of the quarterly while creating the layout for the program.
This was another amazing collaboration that we’ve been building for months. PUMA Motorsport is all over the place during Miami GP Week — at the Regatta Harbour with McLaren Racing Live: Miami, at the Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team South Beach Activation, at the Pulisic Stomping Grounds, and Shoe Palace, and so much more.
So, we created the Esses x PUMA Miami Passport, an illustrated map that people can use to check off the 15 activities that will guarantee a perfect Miami GP Week in the 305. Hit the activations, and the Esses party, but also grab a cafecito at El Pub Restaurant, and some key lime pie at Gramp’s Getaway, and take a run along South Beach Boardwalk (and don’t forget to snap a selfie at a South Beach lifeguard tower on the way)!
Best of all, your favorite influencers will be running around Miami all week trying to fill out their Passports, so even if you’re thousands of miles away, you can follow along with the action!

Last, but certainly not least, we’ll be throwing the event of Miami GP Week in partnership with Visa and Cash App. We’ve told you about it already, but it’s hard to stress how epic Thursday night is going to be.
Issue 02 cover star Mark Delmont has created a car show unlike any other in the hangar space at Riverset Studios, visually telling the story of Miami’s native car culture and the way it has been altered by the city becoming an international racing destination.
Outside, on a stretch of 9th Avenue that we’ve taken over, we’ll have six local food vendors, two DJs, three full bars, and Esses and VCARB booths selling merch, magazines, and more. Inside the hangar, you’ll also be able to get up close and personal with the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Showcar.
The event is free and there will be special discounts all night for Visa Cash App Cardholders. But to get in, you have to RSVP on Eventbrite!
