Burning the midnight oil a bit as I enter the last two weeks of my MFA program’s first semester - plus the final six weeks of the teaching year. A whirlwind confluence of creating, reflecting, packeting…encouraging, cajoling, feedback-ing, and finalizing. It’s both energizing (momentum feeds momentum) and exhausting all at once. Life is like that I suppose :)
You could see a little bit of this in my Mid-Winter Musings, but I’ve done a LOT with letterforms and type in these last several months. I wasn’t expecting this, but it certainly captured my attention. I’ll check back in with a little more reflection and contemplation once I DO actually turn in that final packet on May 17th.
What follows is a little bit of “process” and a few of the semi-final results.
I mean it’s ALL supposed to be semi-final and exploratory right now. I need to get better at remembering that. Enjoy!
