Salvete, patres subscripti.
It is once again January 3rd, and thus the birthday of our dear wretched Cicero. This year he turns a sprightly and shrivelled 2131. Felicem diem natalem, Marce Tulli!
(My image editing skills are high tech and sophisticated.)
It is now 57 BCE, and Cicero’s letters will be relatively sparse, and mostly in the second half of the year. He’s still out there! Just having a terrible time, followed by a slightly less terrible time.
Certain Events Will Occur, and then as well as letters we will get some speeches. Yay! The letters remain my own translations, but the speeches will not be because, like, who has the time.
As always, thank you for reading :-) Tell your friends and enemies that Cicero’s suffering will continue.
Valete!
