Hello everyone,
this post is about a central aspect of Mondstadt, the "Anemo Archon Statue" that stands on the large round platform in front of the Favonius Cathedral in Mondstadt.
I originally decided to create it using 3D printing. This seemed to be the best solution to make it as detailed as possible but still in LEGO style.

Printed from ABS plastic, the statue has the same basic dimensions as a LEGO minifigure, but with arms angled inwards and LEGO wings embedded directly in the torso, as otherwise you would have to attach them with clips.

For the floor pattern I used sideways cheese slopes to recreate the original in as much detail as possible.

After a lot of fiddling around, however, I was able to find a solution based purely on LEGO elements.

The wings are held to the upper body with a LEGO rubber band, which is pulled through the armholes, and are connected to each other with binoculars for stabilization. However, the arms are only connected to each other with a piece of flexible tube and are held to the body purely by the resulting clamping force. This connection is not particularly stable, but I couldn't find a better solution.

Here is a comparison of the 3D-printed and the pure LEGO statue:
