After quite some time, I’ve finally made some more progress on Mondstadt.
This year, I traveled to Denmark with friends from Bricking Bavaria for the Skærbæk Fan Weekend.
Since the question of what a "SigFig" actually is often comes up, I would like to explain it briefly in this post.
This project is a set of 10 themed pods, each with an Indiana Jones character and a small build, displayed on a decorated display stand.
This post is about a central aspect of Mondstadt, the "Anemo Archon Statue" that stands on the large round platform in front of the Favonius Cathedral in Mondstadt.
In this slightly different blog post, I would like to show you a small side project of mine.
About six years ago, on a whim, I built a “LEGO BrickHeadz Mech” based on the monochrome white Brickhead from the LEGO set “Go Brick Me” 41597.
The following is a brief recap of this year's Skærbæk Fan Weekend.
A few weeks ago I was able to get hold of a large quantity of the LEGO Darth Vader Pods from the set #5005376.
Since the last update I've been working a bit more on my LEGO Mondstadt.
Unfortunately, not much has changed in Mondstadt in the past few months.
I built my own modular LEGO building around the same time as the Microscale City.
At the last Bricking-Bavaria meetup we had the idea to build LEGO dominoes to bring them to upcoming meetings/exhibitions.
Another building in Mondstadt has been completed.
In 2017 I got the Iconic Cave (Set 5004936) as a gift with my purchase in the LEGO store, whose figures inspired me to build this little diorama.
One of my biggest builds so far is this microscale LEGO city.
It's been a few years since this block was built, but I'd still like to write a few words about it.
I actually built this little LEGO church as part of my microscale city.
Here's another of my older projects, a LEGO stormtrooper helmet.
About 5 years ago I built the following LEGO building.
Here is another older model of mine.
Here's one of my older projects that I still had lying around.
Here's a quick detail of the Favonius Cathedral for my LEGO Mondstadt project.
As a LEGO model builder, there is hardly anything more satisfying than having a well-organized and well-thought-out sorting system for all the different parts.
After getting more active in the LEGO community again, I decided to update my SigFig.
Here is my first blog post about my current project.
Glad that you found your way to my LEGO website!
