Thank you for being here with me Shore to Shore, a place where we can just be together away from all the algorithms and noise. Pull up a chair at my kitchen table. Seasonality, provenance and enjoying the simple things life has to offer at its heart. How I think and feel and what brings me joy. I hope to inspire you in your own kitchen from using new ingredients, making that list, thinking about how you cook, not making it a chore but something to look forward to whatever day.
Exciting news find my recipes in London Town. I have partnered with Cornish Orchards and Lost Oasis a wonderful pop-up in the heart of London, to create Cornish-inspired dishes which feels like a taste of summer. With chefs Nathan Outlaw, Jordan Bailey and Si Stallards with mixologist Portia Freeman.
Try it for yourself at Lost Oasis, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square until 28th June.
Hello to you my lovely subscribers 💛 I write this every week with good intentions but lately I have felt less connected than ever even though I am spending time each week bringing together what I hope you will enjoy and inspire you. “stop” I hear myself saying instinct is a thing and should be listened to but I have found myself silencing it and trying to be a version of myself which to be honest I am not enjoying. The endless scrolling, the trying to keep up, the performance so to speak, the hustle (you know)
I have been writing on here since 2022 and the independence promised by any newsletter platform often comes with hidden demands. Publishing consistently requires writing, editing, audience engagement, marketing and business management. I am a multitasker but have felt the overwhelm that comes with not only being the writer but also publisher, manager and entrepreneur. The pressure to remain visible and valuable can transform a creative pursuit into a relentless obligation. Yes I have been feeling the pressure.
