So, I’ve decided this week’s reading notes will look a little different. Firstly, I’ve made this one free to read for everyone, for the next two weeks. Secondly, I’m taking a bit more of an in-depth approach. Perhaps it’s because Proust is just that good, or, perhaps it’s because a book like this requires a bit more time, a bit more effort, and a bit more detail.

This is a series I call my Reading Notes, where I show you the process of working my way through the History of the European Novel. This is our second-to-last dive into the French novel.
