For several centuries now, animals have become literal scapegoats for a majority of the illnesses (real or imagined) that afflict humans. With no choice but to bear all the blame, they have become objects of irrational hostility and targets of mass cullings.
Laying the blame on animals for issues associated with humans can be described as SCAPEGOATING, and its origin goes all the way back to at least 1446 BCE. This was when the biblical ceremony for Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement originated, and the sins of humans were symbolically placed upon the head of a goat. The unlucky animal chosen was then sacrificed as an act of reparation, or “atonement,” allowing forgiveness for human sins to be ushered in.
This ritual was first performed in the wilderness, then later moved indoors to the Tabernacles and Temples, where selling and sacrificing animals became a lucrative business for the Church.
The phrase of “scapegoat” itself originates from the early 16th Century, specifically from William Tyndale’s translation of the Bible where he rendered the Hebrew term “escape goat.” He was specifically referring to the sacrificed goat who had the misfortune to be chosen to “symbolically carry the sins of the people.” Over time, the term has evolved to describe any individual or group that bears the blame for others.
The ever-so-helpful World Health Organization (WHO) defines the term ‘zoonosis’ as: “an infectious disease that has jumped from a non-human animal to humans,” with ‘zoonoses’ being the plural form of the word and ‘zoonotic’ as the adjective.
How fascinating to learn that certain diseases have the same agility and impressive jumping skills as kangaroos and grasshoppers!
The WHO also claim that these diseases or infections are “naturally transmissible from vertebrate animals to humans,” and that there are over 200 known types of zoonoses. These comprise a large percentage of new and existing diseases in humans. Of course, they assure you that “some zoonoses, such as rabies, are 100% preventable through vaccination and other methods.”
The Microbe Notes website claims that 61% of emerging human diseases are zoonotic. And at last count, good old Wikipedia’s “List of Zoonotic Diseases” names 110 of them, described as: “infectious diseases that have been reported of jumping from a non-human animal to a human.”
So now let’s take a look at the long-and-ever-growing list of various plagues, pandemics, epidemics, and “viral” diseases that are claimed to have originated from animals.
> AIDS: blamed on primates. > Anthrax: blamed on cattle, sheep, goats, camels, horses, and pigs. > Avian Influenza: blamed on wild birds, chickens and turkeys. > Bubonic Plague and the Black Death: blamed on rats infested with fleas. > Clostridium Difficile: blamed on dogs, cats and cattle. > Covid-19: blamed on bats, stray dogs, pangolins, minks and deer. > Cowpox: blamed on rodents, cattle and cats. > Dobrava-Belgrade Virus infection: blamed on yellow-necked mouse and other rodents. > Dengue Fever, Zika, West Nile, Malaria, and Chikungunya: blamed on mosquitoes. > Ebola: blamed on fruit bats and primates. > Hantavirus: blamed on deer mice, cotton rats, and other rodents. > Lassa Fever: blamed on rodents. > Leprosy/ Hansen’s Disease: blamed on armadillos, rabbits, mice and monkeys. > Lyme Disease and Typhus: blamed on insects such as fleas, ticks, mites or lice. > Marburg Virus: blamed on Egyptian fruit bats. > MERS Virus: blamed on camels. > Monkeypox: blamed on primates and rodents. > Nipah Virus: blamed on fruit bats, pigs, goats, horses, dogs, and cats. > Rabies: blamed on dogs, cats, raccoons, skunks, foxes, and bats. > SARS: blamed on horseshoe bats and Asian palm civets. > Spanish Flu and Asian Flu: blamed on birds and swine. > Yellow Fever: blamed on primates and mosquitoes.
And that’s only a partial list! Blaming animals for sickness in humans has always been extremely convenient. Unable to defend themselves or speak on their own behalf, they cannot deny the accusations or hire someone else to do so. They are automatically found guilty without a proper trial by judge or jury.
Essentially, this accusation is an act of deflection, blame-shifting, and projection...as well as being devious and deceptive. But has it ever been merited? Have animals ever actually CAUSED any of the plagues and pandemics in humans they’ve been accused of?
Right off the bat, we can firmly debunk one of these conditions on the zoonotic list as having ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with animals: Clostridioides/Clostridium Difficile, which is blamed on dogs, cats, and cattle.
As it turns out, Neomycin, a broad spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic, is specifically pegged as one of the MAIN causes of Clostridium Difficile-associated diarrhea and colitis.
According to Professor Dr. Hana Akselrod at the George Washington School of Medicine, and Professor Erika Prouty at the Western New England University College of Pharmacy, when broad-spectrum antibiotics like Neomycin are given to patients, “their gut bacteria are depleted, thereby allowing for a pathogenic species such as C. Difficile to essentially create overgrowth of aggressive bacteria that produce toxins that damage the bowel and create very severe illness.”
The life-threatening infection of the colon by C. Difficile is rampant in hospitals and nursing homes. It is what’s known as an “HAI,” or a “healthcare-associated infection,” and antibiotics happen to be the number one drug inserted into IVs in hospitals. Up to 70% of nursing home residents receive antibiotics annually, often for urinary tract or skin infections.
In the past 20 years, the overall incidence of HAIs in the U.S. has increased by 36%. Approximately 2 million patients suffer from an HAI annually, and an estimated 90,000 of these patients die. This ranks HAIs as the fifth leading cause of death in U.S. acute-care hospitals.
So how the heck did dogs, cats and cattle get blamed for this infection?!?
Then there’s the Spanish Flu. During 1918 and 1919, it was claimed to have killed anywhere from 50 to 100 million people, making it “the worst infectious pandemic in history.”
It is said that the Spanish Flu “serves as a historical example of a zoonotic disease, illustrating the complex interactions between animal reservoirs and human health, and emphasizing the need for vigilance in monitoring potential zoonotic pathogens.
“This zoonotic transmission is a key aspect of understanding the pandemic’s emergence and spread. The emergence of new zoonotic influenza viruses continues to pose a threat, making it essential to monitor animal populations and their interactions with humans.”
There sure seems to be a whole lot of MONITORING going on… to keep us all SAFE, of course.
The Spanish Flu was thought to have “originated from avian influenza viruses,” particularly from wild aquatic birds such as ducks, geese, and gulls. It then “likely crossed into mammal hosts, possibly through pigs, before infecting humans.”
But others beg to differ as to the cause, with some very convincing evidence that VACCINES administered by the military were actually to blame.
It all started in Camp Funston, Fort Riley, Kansas in 1918, when all of the soldiers were vaccinated with smallpox. The U.S. Army then forced the vaccination onto 3,285,376 natives in the Philippines. Of those vaccinated, 47,369 came down with smallpox, and of these, 16,477 died.
In 1919, the mass vaccination program continued, and 7,670,252 natives were vaccinated. Of these, 65,180 came down with smallpox, and 44,408 died. One-third died in the first series of vaccines, and in the second, two-thirds died.
Just to illustrate that the military was aware of such injuries and deaths from vaccines, a report from U.S. Secretary of War, Henry L. Stimson, stated that there had been 63 deaths and 28,585 cases of hepatitis as a direct result of Yellow Fever vaccination – and this all happened during only a six-month period of the war. Additionally, this was only one of the 14 to 25 shots given to recruits.
Also, during this exact same timeframe of 1918 to 1919, the actual theory of “contagion” itself was being dismantled and totally debunked by indisputable evidence.
This would come to be known as “THE ROSENAU EXPERIMENT.”
This was a human-subject study during the influenza pandemic that FAILED to transmit the flu to healthy participants, challenging assumptions about viral contagion.
Dr. Milton Joseph Rosenau was a Professor of Preventive Medicine and Hygiene at the Harvard Medical School. Along with the Public Health Service and the U.S. Navy, Rosenau conducted experiments on 150 healthy Naval recruits, with the goal of PROVING the “contagion theory” of infectious diseases. It all took place on Gallops Island, the quarantine station in Boston Harbor, and on Angel Island.
Sick patients from the hospital, who had been diagnosed with “highly infectious influenza,” were instructed to cough, sneeze and spit directly on the healthy Naval recruits, who also received several strains of Pfeiffer bacillus by spray and swab into their noses, throats and eyes.
After all this up-close-and-personal coughing and spitting, it turned out that none of the healthy participants developed influenza. That’s right: NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON out of the entire group of 150 got sick! Apparently, what was acknowledged to be one of the most contagious of communicable diseases could not be transferred under experimental conditions…which was pretty damning to the entire “contagion” theory!
So what could possibly be the benefit of all this fearmongering of “zoonotic” diseases? Well, other than shifting the blame so as not to take responsibility or accountability for one’s own health, it also allows humans not to have to acknowledge or admit that these diseases are MERE FABRICATIONS designed to usher in VACCINES and promote the fear-inducing myth of contagion.
In essence, all of this blaming of “zoonotic diseases” not only stirs up a dislike and a resentment towards the creatures allegedly creating all this sickness in humans, but induces a general fear of animals as well, or what’s known as “zoophobia.”
There’s even an entire industry of Pest Control Services and exterminators who will happily come to your house and spray poison on all those invasive critters, or set up little guillotine traps for them.
Regarding COVID-19, it was said that “recognizing it as a zoonotic disease highlights the interconnectedness of human health and wildlife. It emphasizes the need for monitoring animal populations and habitats to prevent future outbreaks.”
Once again, this insidiously paves the way for more MONITORING and pharmaceutical intervention into all of Nature – “for the good of Mankind,” of course!
The rampant FEAR of contagion also conveniently serves as an incentive for a MASS CULLING of these animals in the wild, such as was profusely widespread during the Covid-19 Lockdown of 2020/2021.
It didn’t take long for the News Rumor Mill to spread around the idea that the “Covid-19 Virus” most likely came from “a bat‑related virus that crossed into people.” The bat-soup-from-a-wet-market-in-China story was circulated to explain its questionable origins.
In the height of the Cooties Hysteria, hundreds of bats were rounded up and gassed to death in at least four northwestern districts of India. At the same time, the Indonesian government culled hundreds of live fruit bats for sale in food markets, with some of these public cullings being filmed.
In Rwanda, government workers aimed water cannons on roosting fruit bats, hoping to drive them away from the capital city of Kigali. Cubans in two provinces went after bat roosts in caves and buildings, setting them on fire. And in the Cajamarca region of Peru, dozens of fearful citizens out for blood descended on bat caves with lit torches.
The culling became so intense that the nonprofit environmental advocacy organization, Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), issued a public plea to stop the mass killing of bats.
In 2020, Winifred Frick, chief scientist at Bat Conservation International, denied bats had anything to do with the Cooties. She stated: “COVID-19 is a human disease, transmissible human to human.”
Well, at least she got the part right about the bats not being culpable.
Pangolins were corralled into the culprit pen as well, as it was claimed they were found in the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in Wuhan, “a location linked to the initial outbreak.”
Pangolins were an early suspect “because they were known to carry coronaviruses” [which turned out to be just the “Common Cold,” as was noted in the 1989 AMA Encyclopedia of Medicine!!!]
It was also not uncommon for stray dogs suspected of “carrying the Covid-19 virus” to be shot on sight in various countries.
The fear and loathing of animals was at a fever pitch.
And just recently, on February 8, 2026, Florida health officials issued stark warnings of a LEPROSY OUTBREAK, tied directly to contact with ARMADILLOS. Tagged as “key carriers,” it was claimed that “infected armadillos harbor the bacteria responsible for the disease, passing it through direct contact.” It was warned that “The simple act of touching an armadillo can spark infection.”
And then there’s the claim that AIDS was a “virus that jumped from primates to humans” through contact with infected blood from chimpanzees in Central Africa and sooty mangabeys in West Africa. The theory was that it “jumped” into humans when they ate the meat or kept the primates as pets.
Conveniently enough, the specifically-targeted niche population in the U.S. turned out to be gay men, who swarmed en masse to doctors’ offices for their HIGHLY INACCURATE HIV blood tests, in fear of having contracted the deadly virus.
The epidemic had allegedly entered the U.S. and other territories outside Africa due to “travelers and returning professionals,” with one story blaming a gay pilot for bringing it back home. The so-called “deadliest phase” of AIDS was reported to have ended around 1996, with things definitely quieting down since then.
So was it the “advent of effective antiretroviral treatments” that basically ended the epidemic, as was claimed?
No, quite the contrary. It was actually people waking up and realizing the truth – that it was THE TREATMENT THAT WAS KILLING THEM… which happened to be the AZT poison that was introduced in 1989 and being prescribed to all who tested “positive for HIV.”
Another “infectious disease” that turned out to be a non-existent “virus” was the ever-popular RABIES. Please see my post here for that full debunking: “The Rabies Myth Exposed.”
And also more recently, we have the “Bird Flu.” The truth is that these chickens and turkeys in the factory farms and free-range enclosed-warehouses are just as sick as they’ve always been.
It’s no surprise that existing in such filthy, overcrowded conditions with no ventilation causes respiratory problems like bronchitis. Breathing in the putrid, dust-filled air and mold spores in the damp and poorly-ventilated space affects the respiratory system, making their lungs fill with pus; tumors form in their organs and all over their bodies. External parasites like mites and lice can cause irritation and secondary infections.
Overcrowding and poor ventilation promote pathogenic bacteria. High stress from confinement and rapid growth weakens immunity, and the poor sanitation and feed quality can harbor bacteria and parasites.
And you can bet there’s already a vaccine for “Bird Flu” stockpiled and ready. It’s called the Audenz, and it’s “an FDA-approved bird flu vaccine for humans.” It’s manufactured and patented by Seqirus, a global biopharmaceutical company specializing in influenza vaccines. The vials lurk there on the shelves, just awaiting for a “Bird Flu Pandemic” to be announced.
