Today I got a phone call on campus. Mark Rosacay, our National Outreach Leader, said, “Hey Dad, do you have 30 minutes? We want to show you what we’ve been working on.” What he showed me blew my mind! The outreach ministry took on the project of basically becoming a studio, creating TV-grade video discipleship material on their own.
We take for granted, living in the West, that you can always buy a Christian book or watch sermons or Bible studies whenever you want to. That’s only because they’re done in English primarily, and that’s the language that we speak in the West. If you were born in Myanmar and only speak Burmese, none of those thousands of Christian books and videos make any sense to you. It has to be done in your own language and not just with subtitles. It needs to be in your own culture, with your own people on screen. It needs to be Christian for Burmese, not white Western Christianity subtitled for them.
Our campus crew felt that instinctively, and they have dedicated the last few months to producing their own series of seven videos to disciple people in the ways of Jesus. The entire series is called the Jesus Quest, and rolling it out in four nations this year is our biggest project.
Discipleship is the heart of the Great Commission. Discipleship is what brings transformation, and discipleship is where we get our next generation of solid Christian leaders. We believe in discipleship, and we thank you for joining us in our commitment to create discipleship materials for Asia.
But video production is not cheap. It’s much more affordable than ever before in human history, but it still requires cameras, computers, audio equipment, and people who can dedicate their time and energy to these projects. That’s why it is so essential that we complete our goal of raising forty so we can fully fund our outreaches here among Thai and Burmese young people in the next year. Please take seriously this request. We seldom create a campaign like this, but our funds are low this year, and we really don’t want to back off of our outreach. If you can make a sacrifice to help us reach this goal, Sherry and I would deeply appreciate it.
Not only us, but the young people who receive the gospel for the very first time ever will be deeply grateful to you for the rest of their lives.
These outreaches matter! That’s why we are kicking off today a 45-day sprint to raise $45,000 for a year of outreach in the lives of children and young people.

When you click the page, you’ll see the thermometer is at zero right now. Please help us get off of the zero mark and moving toward our 45,000 at the end of this sprint. Thanks so much!
Every blessing!
Chuck and Sherry
