Engaged with Spirit
in silence, stillness
look…
into the evening waters below
feel the shiver, heat from a fire
senses alive…what do you know?
This episode originally aired in February 2024.
Hello and thanks so much for being here today!
This episode feels potent and essential to send to you today, as our good and beautiful work in this world becomes more and more critical.
Learning to look with all of our senses, honing our sight, sound, smell, touch and taste…
Connecting to and working with our entire being in an embodied way, allows us to harness our creative power.
During this meditation you will…
acknowledge your day is filled with distraction, noise, business
quiet your worlds…the world on the inside and the world on the outside
gently scan the body for tension, tightness…and the messages your body wishes to share with you right now
connect to silence and stillness…in your body and the environment in which you find yourself practicing, moving throughout your day
consider how your senses, through symbol and internal systems, can receive information, messages, instructions…and how you can only attune to this information when you’ve cultivated your practice of being silent and still, even if it’s for one moment, one round of breath
listen to the systems in your body…heart, lungs, muscles, for the messages they offer you in this moment
breathe fully, with awareness…opening to the sensations felt in your chest and heart-space, back, tummy, arms, legs, head
make notes…write down the messages received and the actions that must follow
Grab pen and paper (or laptop, iPhone, or iPad)…
…pause in silence and stillness to listen to the wisdom that can be found on the inside and outside of your body…unique messages offered to you alone from Spirit.
Take good care and invite yourself into the gift of silence and stillness in order to know what you need, want, and desire!
Look deeply, my dear…I dare you!
xoxo Michelle
This meditation follows the article,
How to Find Meaning in “Looking,”
which is shared below.
A Monthly Tarot Club gathering
This monthly, 75-minute group gathering explores how tarot and other symbolic imagery can become tools for self-inquiry, embodied awareness, imagination, and taking action in one’s life.
This work is informed by Jungian psychology where symbols are understood as living expressions of the unconscious and images become gateways to inner dialogue through active imagination.
Rather than seeking fixed meanings, we cultivate curiosity, allowing the cards to reveal new perspectives, invite personal insight, and cultivate boundless creative potential.
Delve deeper into the mystery of you.
Bring your challenges, your inquiries into this personalized session where we work with gentle yoga and breath practices paired with the symbology and synchronicity of the tarot to unlock the wisdom and answers that already exist within you.
