Name Change!

My Substack has been called “Eddie’s Songstack” since I started it, and the intention was always to be music-focused. I’ve changed my mind.

I’m allowed to do that, right?

I’ll still post about music since it’s been a driving force in my life since I was just a little guy. I used to have a record of myself at age 3 singing “Puff, the Magic Dragon” in an amusement park record-your-voice booth.

But I want to talk about other things too: my life as an Alzheimer’s caregiver, getting older in a society that doesn’t value age, and stupid observations about the world around me.

So I decided that “Music and Musings” was ultimately more appropriate, and removing my name from the title makes it less egotistical.

I hope you continue to follow me on my journey of figuring out what the hell I want.
