First off who the hell are these characters?

Well...both The Captain and Mr. Wolf are LONGTIME Earlimart collaborators, co-conspirators, contributors (musically, artistically, physically, mentally, cosmically).

These 2 just show up... regardless if they’ve been asked to or not.

Captain John Schlue - A man of many trades and many trade secrets. A retired Sky Writing pilot from Iowa... (forced into early retirement due to a spelling debacle) The Captain now spends most of his time tending to his 12 chickens and mixing chemicals of great persuasion inside his Oregon based laboratory. He drinks only the finest coffee. Hunts for and makes documentary films about mushrooms. Schlue is also a painter of fine paintings. Paints over paint...using more and more paint. For leisure you will find The Captain riding his “Monster Truck” style riding lawn mower, over his neighbors field and down to the kombucha tasting room, where he has been 86’d more times than not.

Mr. Wolf - A fascinating fellow. As a child he skateboarded professionally, he was dubbed WOLF due to his unusual appetite and sense of smell. He added the “Mr.” after marrying a California woman who can see directly into the future, during a full moon. After exiting skateboarding and entering adulthood, Mr. Wolf attended Devry, then on to the prestigious University of Modesto. WOLF later became Chief Electrical Engineer at the famed Belle + Strauss plant in Texas U.S.A. While heading up the B+S electronics division he invented the “Optical Polar Induction Utility Modulator” or OPIUM... an attractive device to say the least. Mr. Wolf immediately quit B+S and has since been the exclusive dealer of OPIUM worldwide. He also enjoys holding over 3 thousand patents. For leisure Mr. Wolf finds great joy in “Slow Cinema”, muted piano, cinnamon rolls and prefers to do all his welding in the nude. Mrs. Wolf patiently encourages Mr. Wolf to search for a higher state of consciousness, the fifth dimension, which he now acknowledges, might be a thing.

Aaron Espinoza - or ae or aaronESP as his Philosophical Research friends like to call him. Espinoza grew up in the Central Valley of California, he now spends his time writing songs about being somewhere else.

May 31st, 1998 - Aaron Espinoza meets Scott McPherson while both earning $100 for work on an Isuzu car commercial. (is Isuzu still a thing?) They smoked cigarettes and tried to look busy. Aaron shared a demo of a new song. Scott later went on to drum in Earlimart AND then on to play with ELLIOTT SMITH. a much better gig!
