Whether you’re brand new to amateur radio, curious about emergency communications, studying for your license, or already licensed and just looking for a fun outdoor radio outing — come hang out with us!

Emergency communications discussion and practice
A relaxed atmosphere to ask questions and get on the air
We will also have MURS radios available for unlicensed users so anyone can try radio communications and participate.
Friends, families, neighbors, coworkers, and curious community members are all welcome.
Spring Valley Reservoir is a great spot to enjoy the outdoors. There are opportunities for:
Swimming
Fishing
Hiking
Relaxing by the reservoir
Camping and hanging out with the community
This is meant to be both a radio learning event and a fun outdoor community gathering.
