—haiku by weaverA bright welcome to you all, the Summer Solstice, ‘the belly of summer’ also known as Litha, the longest day of the year, in Virgo… It officially arrives today, the 21st at 1:24 a.m., bringing 16 hours and 19 minutes of sunlight!
It’s also father’s day and i honour my own dear dad who passed over three years ago on June 25th… happy father’s day dear dad wherever you are within the void, of the light of who you truly are… know you are sooo loved + missed!

sun stop. This day of Summer Solstice stretches wide open with bright light, unhurried, as if time itself has softened into calm warmth… i always know because rebel white daisies litter the roads and ditches, like dear friends swaying to and fro in mild breezes dancing… undoubtedly, everywhere, sweet flowers rise without asking with their kind knowingness… i love how the Solstice feels, almost like some kind of lazy arrival… like nothing is ever missing, like everything has burst opened generous and so very well… then somewhere beneath it all, there’s always the pull of fresh teal, blue water, the promise of swimming, a still slipping into summer’s full fat embrace… as this day always leans into light that never quickens where, this brightness has always found its greatest voice on this longest day… sun stop. —with love, weaver x (((💜)))
