Organizers say the demonstration aims to push for the temporary relocation of Roseland Elementary students until comprehensive environmental testing and cleanup are completed. They are urging local officials to ensure air, soil, and water are tested thoroughly and transparently, and that any contamination risks are fully addressed before students return to campus.

Lead by Pastor Vernon Marvin, the protest also serves as a platform for residents to share personal experiences, including reported health symptoms, impacts on animals, and environmental changes observed in the area. Participants are encouraged to bring signs highlighting their concerns and to stand in solidarity for the safety and well-being of local children. This demonstration is intended to remain peaceful and community-focused, emphasizing public health, environmental accountability, and the protection of future generations.

Community members are encouraged to connect with local organizers for information by email to vernonmarvin985@gmail.com.
