I'm Already Fighting for Connecticut. Imagine What I’ll Do in Congress.

This week, I sent a formal policy letter to EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin and Secretary of Energy Chris Wright urging the Trump Administration to advance Constitution Pipeline and work with Congress to modernize Section 401 of the Clean Water Act—a law that has allowed one state to hold the energy future of an entire region hostage.

Why does this matter?

Because Connecticut families are paying some of the highest electricity costs in America. Those costs ripple through nearly every part of our economy—from higher grocery bills and housing costs to healthcare, manufacturing, and small businesses.

Energy isn’t just another political issue. It is the foundation of affordability, opportunity, and economic growth.

Without reliable, affordable energy, Connecticut cannot compete for manufacturers, biotechnology companies, AI facilities, defense contractors, or the next generation of good-paying jobs.

New York recently approved the Northeast Supply Enhancement (NESE) Pipeline to provide more natural gas for New York City and Long Island.

I support that decision.

But if New York deserves affordable American energy, then Connecticut deserves it too.

We should not accept a system where New York welcomes pipelines that benefit New Yorkers while opposing projects that would help Connecticut families, workers, and businesses.

That is why I urged Administrator Lee Zeldin and Secretary Chris Wright to move Constitution Pipeline forward and why I called on Congress to modernize Section 401 so environmental laws protect clean water—not become political tools that prevent interstate infrastructure from serving millions of Americans.

As a physician, I understand that reliable energy is essential for hospitals, emergency rooms, nursing homes, pharmacies, and public health.

As an attorney, I understand that lasting solutions require changing the law—not simply issuing press releases.

As your Congressman, I will bring both perspectives to Washington.

This is exactly what I mean when I say I will bring federal solutions to local problems.

I am already doing the work.

I have met with and will continue to meet with federal officials, proposing legislative solutions, and fighting for policies that will make Connecticut more affordable and more competitive. This is not the only energy policy I have submitted and/or discussed with legislators and federal officials.

Imagine what I can accomplish with a vote in Congress.

That is why this Republican Primary matters.

On Tuesday, August 11, Republicans have a choice.

You can elect someone who is already fighting for Connecticut—or someone who simply talks about the problems.

I am proud to be the Republican-endorsed candidate for Congress, and I respectfully ask for your support.
