They made SEVEN Wrong Turn movies!?

I’m starting to feel a bit like the boy who cried inbred cannibal. Obviously it’s impossible for every series I cover to be the worst collection of movies I’ve ever had to sit through, and yet inevitably half the time I finish one of these franchises I’m like wow that one’s the worst.

And yet… I really hate Wrong Turn. I never saw these growing up — though I’d heard about them — and I don’t know why but I guess I thought they were scary? But actually no they’re just absolutely disgusting, nudity-filled gore-fests intended to make 13-year olds puke in their mouth while erect? A noble cause if ever there was one.

The only cause nobler? Being a 35-year old idiot who watches them all and recaps them. And to that cause, I accept.
