Episode Seven ~ The 30 Day Challenge

The following is a 30 Day ~ Dream The Answer Challenge

There are 12 dream incubation rituals. Over time you will get a feel for which ones you prefer.

All the tools listed will help you alter your state of mind for relaxation and receiving guidance.

It isn’t necessary to do all or in any particular order either.

Tools to assist you:

• Consider adding in some background music (or water/nature sounds) for the meditations you record for yourself.

• Use essential oils such as lavender.

• Enjoy a dream pillow filled with dream enhancing herbs.

• Use crystals such as Selenite and/or an assortment of Gemstones.

The 12 dream incubation rituals

1. Do a daytime meditation to receive guidance with The Wishing Well Meditation.

2. Write the question on a piece of paper and place it on your nightstand. As you lay down to sleep, silently chant the question you posed.

Repeat it to yourself many times as you breathe in deeply and drift off to sleep.

3. Drink some water as you focus on the question you want answered. Place the rest of the water on your nightstand and trust that the magic current of the water will assist you in remembering your dream for guidance.

4. Write the question on a piece of paper and place it under your pillow. Recite the question to yourself repeatedly in your mind and then relax and go to sleep.

5. Cuddle with your significant other or a teddy bear. Get into your heart space of feeling grateful.

Then think of what it is you want to know and say silently to yourself – “Show me _____________.”

6. Simply repeat the question or statement to yourself and visualize a representation of it in your mind.

For example, say I wanted guidance on how to be at the best weight and shape for me. I would then visualize myself as I wanted to be and repeat to myself, “I am my ideal healthy self.”

Going to sleep with that statement on my mind will lead to receiving guidance on how to actualize that goal and also reveal what my blocks are.

7. Intend to astral travel by doing a visualization of a window jump. This is where you imagine yourself standing on the edge of an open window and there is no ground below.

Have your intention in your mind about what you want to know about and jump.

8. Create your own meditation to relax your body and mind while focusing on what you want to know about.

You can spontaneously create a meditation as you are snuggled into bed or record it ahead of time and listen to your own voice.

OR - choose to do this as a daytime meditation instead.

9. Ahead of retiring for the night, get a piece of paper or a journal and write down what you wish to know. Then do some doodling around it.

Perhaps take the time to colour. This will access your creativity and the side of your brain that will be responding to your requests.

10. Try using different colours of paper or separate journals for each area of your life.

Examples:

• Love & Family

• Health

• Spirituality

• Career & Wealth

• Home Management

11. Instead of questions – write out a ‘fill in the blank’ statement. Example ~ The next item on my bucket list is _____________.

This leaves it open for that higher part of yourself to remind you of what you truly desire.

12. Ask for a story type dream. Tell your higher self that you want to be told a story.

A story that you will remember and will understand the meaning and how it relates to your life upon awakening.

A new episode released every Wednesday. (December 3rd to January 21st) All episodes are listed in the navigation menu under ‘DTA’.

The eBook is available in my shop Dream The Answer. As well as on Amazon & Google Play.

With number three in the list, it may be helpful to drink from the water in the morning as it will pick up the waves of your intentions.

I find that I remember my dreams as I go about my day and I’m moving around in quiet contemplation. For example, doing housework in silence. I’m basically doing movement meditation that doubles as housework and the insights, memories float in.

Suggestion: Create your own dream incubations.
