The three Baltic states — Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania — sit along the eastern edge of the Baltic Sea, between Poland and the Gulf of Finland. They are small countries, and you can travel the length of all three by road in a single long day. But that would miss the point. This is a part of Europe that has spent centuries under the rule of others — Danish, German, Swedish, Polish, and Soviet — and has held on to its own languages, faiths, and traditions through all of it. The result is a region where the past is close to the surface and easy to reach.

Welcome to Ottoman Hamam, where the timeless tradition of the Turkish bath meets modern comfort and luxury. Inspired by the grandeur of the Ottoman Empire, we invite you to experience a journey of purification and renewal.

Turkey, a nation cradled by four seas, presents a scuba diving landscape that is as diverse and rich as its history. The star attractions for divers are the Aegean and Mediterranean coastlines, a sprawling expanse known as the Turquoise Coast.

Sultan Cave Suites is easily the best cave hotel in Cappadocia and staying here was one of my favourite ever travel experiences. It became famous on Instagram for its roof terrace and the incredible viewpoint it offers to see the hot air balloons at sunrise in Cappadocia.

The western coast of Norway is shaped by water and rock. Over thousands of years, glaciers carved long, narrow inlets into the land, leaving behind steep cliffs that drop straight into deep, still fjords. This region, often called Fjord Norway, stretches from the city of Bergen in the south to the mountains and coastline around Ålesund and Geiranger in the north. It is a place where small farms still cling to green ledges high above the water, and where ferries and railways remain part of daily life rather than simple tourist attractions.

NASA announced Fincke's decision on Wednesday (Aug. 12), celebrating his contributions to spaceflight and long career of accomplishments.

Skywatchers across a swath of northern Spain witnessed a total solar eclipse when the Moon lined up directly between the Sun and Earth on August 12, 2026. Those within the path of totality had the rare chance to glimpse the Sun’s active outer atmosphere, or corona, during the short time the Moon blocked the Sun.
