The Lions Gate Portal Opens on 8/8 — Here Is What I Am Doing to Make Sure I Am Ready to Receive.

Last time I prepared for a Lion’s Gate portal, everything I wanted actually came true. Now, not in the way I thought it would at the time… but these portals are incredibly potent. I have always been drawn naturally to the number 8; even since I was younger, it was actually my lucky number. When I saw the number, it signalled to my brain that I was on the right path before I even knew what angel numbers were or signs.

This year, 8/8 is particularly potent magic. First, the Nodes of the Moon shifted onto the Leo and Aquarius axis on July 26th, the same day the portal opened — meaning the collective karmic story now runs directly through Leo. Second, Jupiter is in Leo for the next year, expanding everything the portal touches: courage, creativity, joy, and your willingness to be seen. Third, the portal closes on a Total Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 12th.

So, all that being said, this is gonna be like a typical 8/8 - which is already very intense, lucky energy - this is positioned with the sign of expansion and with the nodal shifts. For me, I am already feeling the energy, which is why I felt the need to write this. Just being such a sensitive person, I tend to pick up on energies and things before they happen. Call it intuition or call it a 6th sense; it doesn’t really matter. All I know is the Universe is telling me to share what I am currently doing to prepare for the energy coming through after this portal.

We can get into the energetics of the portal itself, but I feel like it is actually more important to understand why this time period is really potent. We are entering the Aquarian age and the New Paradigm - which I talk about sometimes here and there- but essentially it is a time when people will be rewarded for HOW MUCH OF THEMSELVES they can be. It is in direct contrast to where we have been for the last generation, where safety and security ruled our motivations and intentions.

Now that we are ushering in the beginning of this new energy, we have entered a refinement period, which my girl, Lacy Phillips, speaks on a lot. It’s this period where the Universe is shedding light on certain things, people, and situations that do not fully and completely align with who you are. Because of that, more people are starting to feel uncomfortable in certain circumstances - me included. But not in this way that is like BLOW EVERYTHING UP, more in this little fine-tuning kind of way.

Now, enter this portal. Leo in medical astrology represents the heart, and with the Leo energy activated throughout the portal, we are being guided to return to the messages of our heart and deepest desires. You see, this energy is supported 10x what is already happening collectively. While we are fine-tuning, we are being shown what our deepest desires are and the messages of our heart, so when the portal comes through, we know what to do.

Now, the trick to manifestation in any sense is that you can’t just write things down and set an intention. You actually need to do the work to move through whatever is blocking you from that thing. I use To Be Magnetic Work to do this, but I also wrote about my method here.

So, with all that being said, there is already a flow within the Universal energy that wants you to reach where you want to go. The key to that is preparing yourself to recieve and allow the opportunities to flow through.

So I am breaking down everything I am doing to get my body, mind, and spirit aligned to usher in and welcome the energy of the Lion’s Gate Portal and everything else that is conspiring right now in our favor. This is more than just “Write a list”; it is my private practices that I do when I know I want to welcome in new opportunities. Which is exactly what this portal is - welcoming in new opportunities.
