September

Folks,

After such a brutal stretch of heat across Alabama, I am looking forward to getting a little relief. We should be getting one more beautiful week of summer before September rolls around. If you’ve got kids or grandkids like I do, you’re probably trying to enjoy the end of summer with family before school starts and our election really kicks into high gear.

It’s a good time to slow down and spend a little more time with family, but it can be a tough time for campaigns. We’ve been blowing Tuberville out of the water in fundraising over the last few months, but over the past week or so, as folks enjoy the end of summer, our fundraising has slowed down.

My team expects things to pick back up in September. But with Tuberville still standing at a four-to-one fundraising advantage, we can’t afford to spend the next couple of weeks losing ground.

So I’m asking plainly: if you’re able, can you make a contribution today to help us get through this summer slowdown and keep this campaign moving forward into September?
