It’s another installment of What I Spent & What I Made - the series where I share a detailed breakdown of my grocery list, what I had too much of, what I had in my pantry, and the meals I made with all of it!
Let’s get into it…
Walmart in Aberdeen, WA. Another week, another Walmart. Seriously, this has been the cheapest place to buy groceries on the road (so far). I’ve tried Grocery Outlet. I’ve been to Safeway. There have not been any Aldi stores near me yet, but we’ll get there. We were driving from the coast of Oregon up to Olympic National Park (one of my least favorite national parks on my road trip, btw, but maybe we can blame the weather).
One thing to note about this week is that we spent some time hanging out with friends, and whenever we hang out with friends, I must cook for them. So I made quite a bit extra by feeding 5 mouths for a few of these meals instead of just two. So if I was only cooking for myself and Meg, I could have saved a little bit more!
