Another day, another cycling transfer with official news that Sebastian Berwick has joined Pinarello Q36.5 from Caja Rural - Seguros RGA on a two-year deal.

We broke the news about this transfer back in June, and now Doug Ryder’s team have confirmed the arrival of the 26-year-old, who is set to be joined by Jan Castellon from Caja - although that transfer has not yet been announced.
Berwick drew interest from several teams during the season after winning the Presidential Cycling Tour of Türkiye. He was strongly linked with Jayco AlUla, but the Australian team haven’t yet made any major signings in the transfer market, instead focussing on a handful of promotions from their U23 team.
Pinarello Q36.5, however, have gone on a shopping spree, signing Pavel Bittner from Picnic PostNL and Mauro Schmid from Jayco AlUla.
They’ll end up taking close to ten new riders, and Andrew August is also heading there from Netcompany Ineos as the team looks to improve in every department. Tom Crabbe (Flanders Baloise) is also on his way.
