Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe have made their first transfer announcement for 2027, with Georg Steinhauser signing a multi-year deal with the team.

The German rider was linked to several teams this year, including XDS Astana and Lidl-Trek, and during June and early July there was a chance that he could have remained at EF Education-EasyPost, but during the Tour de France a deal was reached for the 24-year-old, and he’ll link up with the likes of Remco Evenepoel, Jai Hindley and Lorenzo Finn next season.
