Lucy-Ann Pickering, Digital Learning Network · Digital Learning Network

Here at DLNET we are proud to be part of a long-standing community that supports digital learning in museums, galleries, archives and beyond.

Led by a small committee of volunteers, we have been working hard over the last few years to share articles and inspiring case-studies through our Substack, and to create opportunities for us to come together with other likeminded people through our Network and Nourish events and LinkedIn.

We are excited to announce that we have new opportunities for:

  • Committee members

  • Casual writers and events organisers

We are looking for people who:

  • Work, volunteer, or are actively interested in digital learning in heritage, gallery, archive or related settings.

  • Want to engage others either through:

    • Writing articles and sourcing case studies to publish on our Substack.

    • Building our network and communicating with our community on LinkedIn.

    • Planning and running a range of informal and formal online events.

  • Can commit a couple of hours a month to furthering the work of the Network.

We are also looking for article and case-study writers, and events organisers on an ad-hoc basis.

What we are looking for:

  • Articles about using digital in formal and informal learning in a variety of heritage contexts.

  • Tips and tricks for effective digital practice for smaller organisations.

  • Case studies that showcase digital learning.

  • Ideas for events that help showcase great practise, give confidence, or promote discussion.

Whether you are a dab hand at writing or are new to it, this is a great way to get started and publish something that will inspire others.

If you are interested either in joining the Committee or contributing to the Network on a more informal basis, please contact Lucy-Ann Pickering, Digital Learning Network Chair.
