Team, here on Behind the Blue Firewall we want to pull back the curtain to show you how grassroots support has a massive impact on our fight for a Democratic House Majority.
Grassroots contributions help ensure we have the necessary resources to support strong Democratic candidates all across the country. From supporting Frontline members looking to hold ground in Trump-won seats, to aiding Red-to-Blue challengers looking to flip at least the three seats we need to take back the Majority, every dollar of grassroots support goes directly towards building a Blue Wave and taking back the House Majority from Trump’s MAGA minions in 2026.
Everyday Democrats like you power our work to research and analyze changing political landscapes, reach voters at their doors and on the ground, defend voting rights in the courts and counter Republican attack ads on the airwaves.

Looking back to the 2024 election results, we can definitively say this: Grassroots support was a key reason Democrats were able to defy political gravity and gain a seat when Democrats lost ground nearly everywhere.
Grassroots time, effort, and donations are the reason why we:
Re-Elected 27 of our Frontline Democrats -- like Gabe Vasquez in New Mexico and Marcy Kaptur in Ohio -- many of those in districts Donald Trump won.
Held 4 competitive open seats in states while also electing 2 new members in Alabama and Louisiana.
Flipped at least 6 Republican-held seats from RED to BLUE, from Josh Riley in New York to Janelle Bynum in Oregon.
Because of the grassroots fundraising advantage over Republicans, our candidates were able to outrun the top of the ticket and bring us historically close to a House Majority, despite the national headwinds.
