Happy New Year! I hope you had a restful break and are feeling positive for 2026. Here’s a wee overview of some things I’ve got coming up and a brief recap from the last few months.

I am thrilled to have been selected for the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop Hawthornvale Mentorship Scheme.

Really looking forward to working alongside the ESW team to develop new works alongside fellow selected artists Esther Castle and Molly Kent. I will be focusing on an installation informed by organic and synthetic structures encountered on Findhorn beach.

This will be presented in the Hawthornvale Space at ESW, opening in March.

The SSA Annual Exhibition is back again at the Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh and I’m very pleased to have Residue Dialogues pre-selected.

The SSA Annual Exhibition is one of the largest contemporary art exhibitions in Scotland, produced entirely by artists, with no public funding. The exhibition will take place in the Upper Galleries of The Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh, from 11 January - 4 February 2026 to coincide with RSA200: Celebrating Together.

This work was completed at the start of 2025 and was previously selected for the Scottish Landscape Awards.

In September I was delighted to have work (above) selected for the inaugural No Place Art exhibition, Edition One:Materiality at the Handbag Factory in London.

It was a fantastic show, congratulations to all involved. Thanks to LOOP Artist’s In Print for the award - I will be exhibiting in London at their show later in 2026.

Last summer I presented this sculptural installation at Hidden Door Festival, continuing my exploration of materials from the tramline development in Leith.

Following Hidden Door, I was invited to exhibit the work at Dundee Botanic Gardens as part of Robyn Scanlan’s City Flower’s Garden Festival project.

I’l be reworking the tram construction materials again this summer as part of a project with Louise Bennetts . More details soon…
