Danielle Moss · Breakfast at Toast

Now that the kids are back in school, and both my surgery and the move are behind me, I am getting back to a routine and to the things that make me feel like myself. Here's what made the cut.

OSEA Undaria Algae Body Oil

(In Partnership with OSEA) My skin is very dry, and I’ve been using OSEA’s Undaria Algae Body Oil for over a year now. This oil replenishes the skin’s moisture barrier, so it really hydrates my dry skin. I like to apply it morning and night, and it’s one of those little things that helps me start and end the day by doing something for my skin. It’s lightweight and fast-absorbing, so it feels great on the skin, and isn’t oily or greasy. I like to pair it with OSEA’s Hyaluronic Body Serum for even more hydration.

If you have dry skin, or just want to take better care of your skin, this body oil is the best. OSEA was founded 30 years ago in Malibu and uses the same seaweed and the same clean standards they started with.

Getting Back to Moving My Body

I dropped the kids at school and met a friend for an hour-plus walk. My therapist has really pushed me to move my body more, and I notice such a difference when I do. But this was my first long walk in months since I had to take some time off after surgery, and I was dealing with some knee issues the month before going into surgery. I really need to move my body again, and love that I now have a friend around the corner, and sidewalks, too.

Coco & Eve Clean Self-Tanner

I am extremely pale and don’t tan, so I use this self tanner to give myself a little color. It’s a clean beauty product so I know it’s safe to apply to my skin, and I feel better when I take the time to apply this every 5-7 days. When I use my OSEA Undaria Algae Body Oil regularly, my tan tends to last a little longer, too.

Higher Dose Red Light Hat

As someone with fine hair who was hit hard by postpartum hair loss, I bought this hat two months ago after hearing great things about it. I was very consistent until I had surgery, and both recovery and the move got me off of my new routine. I am back to using this regularly.

You just push a button and go back to doing whatever you were doing for the next 10 minutes. I love that I can’t see any red light when I wear it, and it’s completely cordless, so I can work, clean, or watch TV.

Shark FacialPro Glow

I don’t like getting facials but really want to take better care of my skin, and using this facial tool once a week, I can see and feel how much cleaner my face is. It’s really easy to use, and incredibly satisfying to see what comes off my skin. It exfoliates, clears pores, hydrates, and depuffs, too.

Ritual Magnesium

I was on a terrible sleep schedule all summer, but now that the kids are back in school and we’re back to our early morning routine, I have to get it together. I’m taking my magnesium every night, and making sure I can’t access my phone after 9:30PM.

The Brick

My phone is Bricked every night at 10PM, but over the summer, I regularly unbricked it to scroll in bed. I have Instagram, Gmail, and Amazon blocked, because I’d often end up scrolling, emailing, and placing late night orders for the things I remembered I needed earlier in the day. I am back to my strict Brick schedule and actually starting to lock those apps at 9:30. Hoping I can work my way up to 9PM soon.

Thank you to OSEA for sponsoring this post.
