The Tool That Reads Your Thyroid Labs The Way I Do

On Tuesday I gave you the panel to ask for. Today you get the thing that reads it.

This is not the same as working with me. When you’re my patient I have your history, your symptoms, your labs over time, and the thing you mentioned offhand in minute forty that turned out to be the whole answer. A prompt has none of that.

What it has is my framework. The ranges I use, the patterns I look for, the questions I’d want you asking. That’s the best I can do for the number of people who need this and will never be my patient.

Works for men and women. I built the male side in deliberately, because roughly one in eight thyroid patients is male and almost none of them get antibodies ordered.

Your thyroid works. Your body isn’t using it. TSH normal, T4 normal, Free T3 on the floor. Something is blocking the conversion into the active form, usually iron, inflammation, or stress. Most common thing I find and the most commonly missed.

Your immune system started before your thyroid did. Antibodies positive, every hormone normal. The attack is underway and the thyroid is still keeping up. You’ll be told to come back when your TSH rises. That’s the window, and it’s being spent waiting.

Your medication is working and you’re not better. TSH perfect, Free T3 low, still exhausted. The pill is doing its job. The conversion isn’t happening.
