There is a Well

Within the tangled forest
of your mind,
there is a clearing.
And in this clearing,
there is a Well.
And in this Well,
there is a secret.
The secret of your soul,
a gift from Spirit:
your own deepest Joy,
flowing eternally
from the springs
of your own deepest
Love.
You may feel it is not
enough.
It may bring you shame.
You may fear scorn,
judgment.
But I tell you:
don’t hide it,
don’t cover it.
Drink and drink deeply
of its waters,
and they will bless your life
in ways you cannot
imagine.
For this Well is your own,
your private conduit to the
Divine.
And in your drinking,
you also gift these waters
to overflow through you
to bless the
world.
