Hello friends,
What if drag isn’t just glitter and gowns, but a daily negotiation of how we want to live?
This Sunday, May 31, we’re pulling back the velvet curtain for Life is Drag – a special evening co-organized with the Belgian Consulate that asks: what performances do we all put on, just to move through the world?
📅 31st May Sunday | 6:00 – 8:00 PM
📍 CURRENT PLANS, 3F, Remex Centre, 12 Heung Yip Road, Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong
We’re welcoming legendary Belgian drag queen Edna Sorgelsen to Hong Kong. But instead of a typical show, we’re gathering for something quieter and deeper: an artist sharing about codeswitching, “in-betweenness”, and the creative ways we navigate identity.
Why come?
Because this isn’t only about drag. It’s about the micro-performances we all learn: shifting our voice, our posture, our story,to fit in, to protect ourselves, or to bloom.

We can’t wait to share this evening with you <3
