Welcome to our newsletter for May! We’re starting out the month with a big event, read below for more information about how to attend. We had another busy month of planning and organizing. As summer is fast approaching, we are looking for more people to join us, check out what we do to see if you would be interested in joining us!
April saw some new faces at our weekly distros. We’ve been meeting more people in our community with different needs as the weather changes. We have been able to distribute hygiene kits and harm reduction supplies at least twice a month. We would love to have the ability to always have these supplies on hand to be able to accommodate everyone’s needs. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated!

Carlos and Julian
We are still sharing the fundraiser for Carl and Julian. Carl has shared that Julian’s doctors have run tests to check on his overall health. Julian is doing ok but he still urgently needs the surgery. Carl also told us that the weather in the area is impacting his health and they would like to buy an air conditioner to the room to help keep Julian comfortable. So far ee have raised $2,300 of our $5,000 goal.
Donate directly to their fund!
We have spent the past month putting together a fundraiser event for Carl and Julian to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Tickets include food, drinks, games, and access to various resources. We will have fun activities including a lotería where you can win prizes donated by various community members! Hope to see you there!!
If you would like to join in on the fun but can’t come to our event, participate in our IG raffle! We have two prize packages to choose from with prizes donated by Atlanta organizitons, small businesses, and community members. Unlimited entries give you a better shot of winning, take a chance to help Carl and Julian!
Augusta Donation Drive
We are actively collecting various items including bedding, kitchen appliances, and hygiene supplies for community members in Augusta affected by Hurricane Helene. We are planning to collect supplies until the end of the month to be able to make the drive down to distribute them. Check out the full list of supplies below, anything you can donate is greatly appreciated!
