Oreo's Second Chance Awaits!! - Baltimore, MD

Oreo Blizzard: unaltered male, 10yo, 22.6lbs

Oreo Blizzard was surrendered to the shelter on 8/16, and this handsome boy is now looking for a rescue to help him get the medical care he needs and find a safe place to land.

Oreo has several medical concerns that will need follow-up. He has lenticular sclerosis in both eyes, an age-related change that can cause the eyes to appear cloudy. He also has moderate to severe dental disease that will likely require veterinary attention. Oreo has a soft heart murmur that should be rechecked before anesthesia to make sure he can safely undergo any needed procedures.

He also has an infected, broken nail on his left front paw. Veterinary staff recommend considering X-rays of the paw, which may require sedation, to determine whether there is any deeper injury or infection that needs to be addressed.

Oreo deserves the chance to get comfortable, have his medical concerns properly addressed, and settle into a home where someone can give him the attention he needs.
