Mister is a Caucasian Shepherd with a big presence and a sweet side to match. ❤️ He has been a good boy with us, but before falling for that fluffy face, we ask potential adopters to please research and understand the needs and characteristics of this breed.

Caucasian Shepherds are large, powerful guardian dogs bred to protect their home and family. They can be naturally territorial, independent, strong-willed, and wary of unfamiliar people. They require a committed owner who understands guardian breeds and is prepared to provide appropriate training, management, socialization, and plenty of space.

Mister is available for meet & greets BY APPOINTMENT. Because we want his interactions to be with people who are seriously considering adoption and prepared for the commitment this breed requires, please contact the shelter ahead of time to schedule a time to meet him.

To help ensure Mister goes to the right home, his adoption will also be facilitated in coordination with one of our rescue partners. Potential adopters will need to complete the rescue’s adoption process and meet their home-check and adoption requirements before Mister can head home.

Misterr may be sweet, handsome, and ridiculously fluffy—but he is still very much a Caucasian Shepherd. 🐻🐾 Our goal is to find a family who doesn’t just fall in love with how he looks, but is fully prepared for who he was bred to be.
