Geranium: unaltered female, 10yo, 9.2lbs

Geranium came to BARCS on 8/24 as a stray after being abandoned by her finder in the public lobby. The finder did not want to wait and left her behind the desk, leaving this sweet girl to begin her shelter journey without the person who found her.

Geranium appears to be an older girl with several medical needs. She has cataracts and a mature left eye, as well as missing teeth and periodontal disease that will likely require dental care. She also has a small mass on the right side of her nose, a very large mass underneath her tail, and another mass near the right caudal mammary gland. She is also dealing with fleas and has a 2/6 heart murmur.

Geranium has clearly been through a lot, and she deserves the chance to receive a full medical workup and the care she needs in a comfortable environment. A rescue partner could give this senior girl the opportunity to have her masses evaluated, address her dental and eye concerns, and finally know the comfort and security of a home.

A full medical summary can be provided upon request.

Thank you,
